SCP-6500 Pumps with Static Conductive Plastic
Special Features: SCP-6500 Pumps allow class 1 and 2 flammable liquids to be pumped using GoatThroat Pumps’ unique technology.
Applications ranges: Alcohols, flammable solvents, volatile hydrocarbons.
The latest pumping solution for spill-free, environmentally safe transfer of flammable liquids is in production now. The SCP-6500 Pumps will be available March 1, 2010. Featuring a lug with a grounding wire on the front of the pumps, and made with conductive plastic, the SCP-6500 Pumps allow users of flammable liquids to ground the pumps, making them safe for use with class 1 and class 2 flammables. All components of this new pump which come in contact with the fluid are created with conductive plastic, so there is grounding of the liquid, the pump, and, with correct bonding, to the container.

GoatThroat VSP-6800 System delivers Fluids to Solvent Vapor Degreasers with no Emissions
Applications ranges: Chlorinated Solvents and Fluorinated Solvents such as Novec™ HFE and Azeotropes.
With current transfer methods and because of the highly evaporative nature of both fluorinated and chlorinated solvents, users of vapor degreasers lose substantial inventory when transferring the fluids from storage containers to the vapor degreasers.
GoatThroat Pumps has developed a system to deliver the fluids from the container through the vapor zone of the vapor degreaser directly to the fluid chamber with no loss of liquid. The GoatThroat System eliminates the fugitive inventory loss and helps to keep the work environment cleaner from such emissions.
The GoatThroat VSP-6800 System features the GT300 Pump with Viton seals, the RT300 remote discharge nozzle outfitted with Tygon FEP lined 200SE flexible hose, and a hard plastic pipe which delivers the fluids directly into the chamber below the chillers. While the system can be operated by hand, a BGA Pneumatic Adapter can be added to the system to increase ease of use when shop air is present.
GoatThroat Pumps have a cost-effective life expectancy of 10 to 15 years, and provide for spill-proof, virtually emission-free transfer of both chlorinated and fluorinated solvents. |

The BillyGoat adapter features two external pressure safety valves. The new compressor setup delivers fluids at up to 4.5 gallons per minute with a working pressure of just 2PSI.

GoatThroat Multi-pump Dispensing System
The new GT Multi-pump Dispensing System is the latest addition to its line of cost-effective pumping solutions for spill-free, environmentally safe transfer of virtually any chemical or liquid.
Designed to expand capability and streamline operations where multiple process chemicals are dispensed, the new GT Multi-Pump Dispensing System allows simultaneous multiple liquid transfer stations to operate from a single compressor line with only 2psi. The basic system can handle up to four pumps simultaneously, and additional system components can be added to meet any requirement.
Delivering fluid from multiple containers with 2psi, the system features a regulator with a low-volume air pressure gauge, automatic external pressure relief at 6psi, automatic shut-off quick-connect air fittings on the manifold as well as on each pump. |

Optional Remote Discharge Nozzle and Extension Hoses
A remote discharge tap can greatly extend the versatility of GoatThroat pumps. Ideal for transfer of liquids and chemicals from large drums, the remote nozzle allows precise, one-hand flow control, leaving the other hand free for work.
The thumb-operated tap dispenses liquids as easily as using a faucet. Pressurized liquids can be easily transferred to levels up to 10 to 12 feet higher than the container, which is impossible with traditional gravity-fed liquid transfer methods. And our patented drip-proof design helps keep work areas clean and prevent potentially hazardous spills.
Remote discharge taps are available singly, or with several hose options. RT100W/H5 (shown above left) comes fitted with a 5-foot PVC hose for permanent connection to the pump body. RT100W/H10 includes a 10-foot hose. All hoses are PVC, and quick-connect fittings have nylon connectors. RT 100/200/300 and body barb fitting (shown above left) are made of polypropylene. Seamless 38-inch tube
This seamless 38-inch tube is recommended for oily or very viscous fluids. Standard tubing can allow viscous fluids to leak, or admit air at joined sections. The seamless tube assures a smooth, uncontaminated flow.
Flexible Tubing
Also available is tubing for your remote discharge nozzle or other applications. PVC tubing is standard for the remote nozzle, but please check compatibility with your liquid by reviewing the PVC Tubing Compatiblity Guide and the TYGON Tubing Compatiblity Guide prior to purchase.

These adapters compensate for containers with a coarse thread that cannot easily accommodate standard GoatThroat drum seals. Made of polyethylene plastic, each adapter includes a large O-ring to provide an airtight seal. Pump Standoffs
Standoffs raise the pump level to compensate for drums with a high lip, allowing small containers to be placed beneath the tap. Pump standoffs are available in 4-inch heights to fit plastic containers, and in 4-inch heights for galvanized steel drums. The new 12-inch standoff allows you to place the receiving container on the drum for easier transfer. Always match plastic standoffs to plastic drums, and steel standoffs to steel drums. All of these fittings are National Pipe Tapered and seal with Teflon Tape
Straight Pipe Threaded Standoffs
We now offer Straight Pipe Threaded fittings for drums which have this thread. Generally this opening will be found on steel drums. This NPS fitting seals with a washer instead of teflon tape.. Please specify o-ring material to match your pump when ordering these fittings.

Specialty Fittings and Adapters
The 5G-RPS-GT (ADAPTER RIEKE FLEXSPOUT) adapter allows the pumps to be used on containers which feature a Rieke® FlexSpout®. This eliminates tipping of the container and associated spill hazards. Supplied with Nitrile washer as standard, EPDM and Viton® washers are also available. We also now offer an adapter for the new RIEKE FS II FLEXSPOUT ADAPTER.
The 5G-BGC-GT adapter for Blitz 5-gallon gasoline cans allows safe dispensing of fuels as does the 5G-SGC-GT for Scepter Gas Cans. Click here for ordering information.
The Fixed Threaded Adapter permits GoatThroat Pumps to be semi-permanantly fixed to the drum by threading on to both the pump and the drum. This is ideal when the pump and container are on a moving vehicle.
